The currency in Thailand is the Thai baht (THB), with 1 lev being around 19 baht, depending on the exchange rate. The currency is easily found in Bulgaria, so we recommend you exchange a small amount before departure so you have some to pay for fees at the start. Exchange rates in Thailand are more favourable, so better to exchange locally. In Bangkok the exchange rate at the airport is very good. It’s always better to pay with local currency wherever you are – it works out much better. Bring euros or dollars (large kopecks , and for dollars issues after 2010) to exchange in Thailand. In addition , you can also pay in many places with a credit/debit card (ask, however, about the extra fee that some merchants charge when you pay with a card).

The highest rainfall occurs in July and August and practically mainly in the northern part of the country. Seasons: dry: March to May, humid: June to October, cool: November to February.
