Maafushi is one of the most popular local islands in the Maldives- colourful and vibrant with energy, once you visit you can’t help but love it. It is just 25 km from Male’ and Velana International Airport. It is one of three local islands in Kaafu Atoll with a total population of just over 2,000 people. The area is world famous for its white sandy beaches, blue ocean and enticing coral reefs. Here, hospitality is perhaps the most distinctive aspect of the local population, the beaches are stunning and the tropical climate will put you in a constant festive mood.

Maldives. Arrival at Male airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Free time for rest. We gather after lunch for a presentation of the program and additional excursions , introductions, directions and information about everything on the island. Dinner. After dinner first general gathering with lots of music and dancing. Overnight.

Breakfast. How about swimming with sharks? Yes you have read correctly. Today we will swim with sharks. Anyone who has seen the movie Jaws knows that the first thing to do when seeing a shark in the water is to get to the safety of land. Instead, we’re going to swim and take pictures with them. We then head to another local island where we can get up close and personal with stingrays, pet them and even lie down among them. After this solid dose of seawater, we head to another stunning stretch of sand. Here will be our stop for lunch and rest. We will have fun and take lots of pictures. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight. Additional charge of 65 €.
Breakfast. Today, we will relax as we head to the local island of Guli where we will spend the day on the beach. We will take pictures, explore the local reef. We can take advantage of the variety of water sports on offer on the island. Return of the Maafushi. Free time. Dinner. Opportunity for fun and dancing on the party boat, live music or beach disco. Overnight
