Currency exchange is best done at banks

paid with dollars, so it’s best to bring your

Newer issue, after 2010. Very old or torn notes are not accepted on the island because their banks don’t want them either. International credit and debit cards are accepted, but not everywhere, so it’s a good idea to carry cash.

Casual and light, comfortable, summer. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes, without heels (for ladies) – flip-flops, sandals. You can even go barefoot all the time. You really don’t need a lot of clothes. Outerwear is not necessary. If one is bothered by the wind, one can
take a windbreaker. For the ladies scarves are sold on the island, there is a wide variety. The scarf will serve you as an outerwear, bedding, towel, pareo and whatever else you can think of. Nice masks, snorkels and towels are handed out during the trips.

Tunics, dresses, scarves, sweats, pants. With saturated and bright colors
on the clothes get nicer pictures.
Hairdryers are available at the hotel.
For All
several hats with visors, several pairs of swimsuits, sunscreen, and after-sun creams for hydration. All of these are sold on the island. They have very nice swimsuits, they cost between 20-50 dollars. No need for towels, they are available at the hotel and on the boat trips they will give you some. It’s also good to have a long sleeve shirt to swim in and keep out of the sun. They are special for water sports. Such very nice ones are sold on the island. They cost between 25-50 dollars. Mosquito repellent if you have problems with them.
Shoes for the water, to prevent stepping on coral possibly, but also on the spot sell very good.

Temperatures vary between 24 and 33 °C throughout the year.
Humidity is high, but not noticeably so
due to constant breezes. Two seasons prevail – dry (in winter)
and rainy (in summer). We will be there during
their strong season

We have found 2 new uninhabited islands with wild vegetation and palm trees where we will be alone and can spend the day having fun, music, dancing , playing games. The official religion is Islam, but Hindus are also found. And since we will be on a local island with a mainly Muslim population , there are some specifics that are observed by tourists as well. For example, the import of religious material offensive to Islam, pornographic material, narcotic and psychotropic substances, alcoholic beverages and pork products are prohibited in the country.

The main traffic is by motor boats between the islands

No visa is required when visiting the Maldives. All tourists from all countries receive a 30-day visa on arrival. A completed online declaration is required, which needs to state the accommodation. The declaration must be completed a few days prior to departure. We will give exact instructions for completion. The hotel we will be staying at is called Arena Beach Hotel 4* and is located on Maafushi Island.
